First Vice President

Chase Lyday


Officer Lyday currently serves as a School Resource Officer for the Decatur Township School Police Department located in Southwest Indianapolis.  He serves in several capacities in the school district including Social Emotional Learning Program Director, Assistant Varsity Football Coach, Executive Director of the Decatur Township Drug-Free Coalition and is an active member of the Marion County Safe Schools Commission.

Officer Lyday spent six years with the Marion County Sheriffs Office in various roles in the Criminal Division.  He is also a LETB certified Instructor, NASRO Advanced SRO, NASRO Practitioner, Indiana School Safety Specialist and ALERRT Active Shooter Response Instructor.

Officer Lyday has two children that are responsible for his greatest joys as well as the excessive premature gray hairs on his head.  He coaches his son, Gavin in football and baseball and pretends to know about gymnastics to give his daughter pointers.  Officer Lyday is excited to be a part of the INSROA team and looks forward to the continued growth of the organization.
